The biggest compliment that anyone can pay to Scoop Deville is that many thought this was Dre’s production when it first dropped. Smooth isn’t the word for Scoop’s work here, as he serves up a beat that even your least favourite rapper couldn’t ruin. Add in Dre and Lamar and you have a track that will probably feature on a lot of end of year ‘best of’ lists. By the way, is there anyone better than Kendrick at the moment? In terms of flow, consistency and lyrical ability I don’t think he can be touched.
