Kardinal Offishall & Nottz – AMTRIM (mixtape)

Wanna get my attention? Make an EP with Nottz. It worked for Asher Roth back in 2010 and now this tape has got me going through Kardinal Offishall’s back catalogue. The first 30 seconds of a mixtape are as important as the next 30 minutes because people aren’t prepared to invest the time into something that’s free the way they would if they’d paid for it.

Just to be on the safe side Nottz gets thing going in the first 10 seconds of AMTRIM. The VA producer probably has the most distinctive sound in the business right now and if you’ve heard his stuff before you’ll already know if this project is worth your time.  If the name is new to you then you might wanna start with Mr Parker/Kill Shot and work from there.
