I’ve been called “anti 2 Chainz” before for not showing him love during his crazy year. First off, here, here and here, and secondly I’m not anti any artist. To completely write off any rapper is silly because albums typically encompass such a wide range of styles. Often I think people disregard rappers too quickly and then don’t want to change their minds because they’re too scared to admit they were wrong. You should really take every song on its individual merit.
Chrisette displays the talents that helped make this a standout on Teflon Don whilst 2 Chainz brings a slower, more thoughtful approach that you might not be used to if you’ve only heard his singles.
